We’re Not Waiting Anymore
For your becoming, your joy, and your November plans.
We spend so much of our lives waiting for permission to see ourselves clearly.
When I get the job, then I’ll feel accomplished. When I find the partner, then I’ll feel worthy. When someone recognizes my work, then it will count. When I’m consistent enough, good enough, visible enough then I’ll let myself celebrate.
But the truth is, we aren’t waiting on any of those things. We’re waiting on ourselves. We keep minimizing what’s already here because we’re convinced the “real” life hasn’t begun yet. We survive impossible moments, we learn new things, we build quietly in the dark yet we don’t let it count because it doesn’t look big enough from the outside.
Meanwhile, life is unfolding now; in the small acts of trying again, in the joy of beginning, in the courage it takes to heal without applause.
What if you’ve already walked through the door you think you’re waiting to enter?
The permission you’re seeking is internal. You can choose to see yourself, to honor what’s already happening, to let your effort and softness and survival be enough right now.
You are not late. You are not behind. Give yourself permission, you are becoming. And that’s already everything!
Here’s what I’m excited about this November. Pull up, show up, and enjoy.

What I’m Reading, Listening To, & Loving…
What I love about what Julia Harrison created with saloon is how intentional and generous the platform is. It’s not just a newsletter, it’s a living space for creatives to gather, share work, find opportunities, collaborate, and feel seen. It is definitely one of my favorite subscriptions and it’s finally back after a little break! Julia built a system that removes gatekeeping and replaces it with genuine community care.
If you’re looking for a way to settle your nervous system before bed, this is a beautiful place to start. I’ve been ending my days with this Louise Hay - Evening Meditation from the You Can Heal Your Life podcast, and it’s been a grounding way to soften the my evening. The meditation invites you to release whatever you’ve been carrying, to forgive yourself for not doing it all, and to return to your body with gentleness.
